Manjimup was the site of Western Australia’s only tobacco farming venture. Manjimup is the hub for many of the smaller towns in the lower south west region of WA. Today Manjimup relies on agriculture, viticulture, vegetables and cattle & sheep farming, along with tourism. Manjimup is also the home to Western Australia’s truffle industry. Manjimup is the home to the mighty Gloucester tree, a unique fire lookout built into the top of a massive karri tree.
